Our success depends on having the best and brightest employees, and helping them attain their personal and professional goals while delivering excellence in patient care and business results. Our employees embody our culture which is based on six core values supporting our promise to improve the quality of life of every patient, every day.
HISTORY
Hope Dialysis Center was founded by Chris Fisher who visited American Samoa in 2011 for the first time noticing that there was an obesity epidemic. After some research and another visit in 2017 he decided to build a dialysis facility to help those with Chronic Kidney Disease. He was introduced to local government officials by his uncle, John Wasko. During the first part of 2018 they formed Hope Dialysis Center and set out to raise capital from local investors. In late 2018 they succeeded and the American Samoa Venture Fund became an investor in addition to private equity.
A building was located in Vaitogi and construction began in late 2018. Hope Dialysis Center opened its first center in fall of 2019 and will build a second facility to meet the demand of newly diagnosed patients and residents returning home to American Samoa.
